So I re-worked my layout once more...I just wanted to do something with a dark theme. I really don't care if anyone likes it or not.

I hope everyone is doing ok lately. I'm shall we say managing. These damn allergies though. Why can't it rain so the pollen will wash away? And why can't I find an allergy medicine that actually WORKS??

Ok. 'Nuf said about that. Hey I'm going tomorrow [on my extra day off, an exciting time this is, ah freedom for a whole weekend...haven't had that luxury in a long time...] to look at tires for my car. Exciting, I've never bought tires for myself before. Sure I have been there to select tires with my parents for THEIR cars and a couple of my uncles, but never mine. [No smart comments about not having the Camaro {tear}long enough to even look at tires]

That's another thing, it's been how many months since my accident and I still hear shit from people concerning that. It's annoying. I expected it to happen, but the people that are saying things surprise me. I guess I probably deserve a lot more, and I am thankful that I have not received more. Oh well. That is the way the world works.

So, how 'bout that War with Iraq? I chanced upon the liberty to discuss with a few of my friends their viewpoints as well as what they believe should be done. You know I keep saying this and I know that people are getting tired of hearing me talk, but bear with...I think we are damned if we do and damned if we don't when it comes to dealing with Saddam over there in Iraq.

Let me clear this up: I do not want to see us or anyone else go to war. I hate the idea of people dying and fighting as it is, but to go to war seems silly. But if I had the choice to sign up tomorrow with the military and possibly be sent overseas to deal with the problem over there, I would take that chance in a heartbeat. I believe so much in this country that people have claimed I am "blind to the truth." That may be so, but isn't everyone blind of something at some time? Doesn't everyone choose to see some facts and not others? Cmon people. Wake up! The world is going to shit, and I do not want to see it go all the way to hell, but it's on its way. Saddam has done many wrongs in the world's eyes, but people fear going to war, hell I do. But I see this as the only solution. The UN is sitting on their hands looking for diplomatic means to an end of this dispute. And quite frankly that is great in my book. Hell I would rather see it end like that then have to send our troops over there to die and kill other human beings. But Saddam has gone over what he agreed to do years ago after the Gulf War. He needs to come to terms with his crimes. He has violated diplomatic measures that he agreed to, and that is not tolerable in my book. Democrats [no offense to anyone in particular, and none is meant here] see President Bush as someone looking for a reason to go to war because of our economy. And quite frankly that could be the reason, but tell me that wars in the past have not been initiated for economic goals. Think of the British and their Empire they formed years and years ago. Think of the Civil War. The Civil War was an economic war up until 1863 when Lincoln decided that the North needed a reason to fight, and to raise morale he used the slaves as propaganda and a "purpose."

There are always two sides of any story. I only wish that people looked at all sides. I understand what people that are opposed to this war are saying, but I only wish that I was understood instead of cut off every time I try to explain myself. I don't want to be a party basher, or someone looking for a scapegoat. I know that killing another human being is wrong, but as long as we are human beings we will suffer and we will make others suffer.

I believe that Saddam possesses weapons of mass destruction. I do not know if he will use them. But the fact that he even has them scares me and others alike. We need to stop him before he even gets to use them, which he already has. Saddam used his people as test subjects for his weapons. If he is willing to do that to his own people then what says that he is not willing to use it on anyone else?

I'm not saying this is right, but everyone needs to understand something. We need to be the ones to settle this dispute. WE need to take a stand and show that we will not let someone instill fear into our society. We need to protect those that could be hurt just because they are neighboring countries to Iraq.

I don't want suffering, but sometimes we have to. It is the human way. It is the only way. I want this to end peacefully, but I know in my heart the only way it could end with some form of a happy ending would be for us to go to war. I pray for all of those soldiers who are out there risking their lives daily for us, Americans who sit around in our homes and complain about issues we cannot control because they are in the hands of politicians. I believe that if you are a true American, you should stand behind President Bush and his decision to go to war. America is about preserving freedom. That is what we have to do for future generations.

That ends my rant for today, I needed to write something political for once, and I hope I did not piss too many people off. Peace and God Bless.
